On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, observed on December 10 each year, which marks the conclusion of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, the Kongra Star Coordination in Lebanon issued a statement denouncing the continuous attacks launched by the Turkish occupying state and its mercenaries on NE Syria.

The statement highlighted that recent events in the region, including the war in Gaza and the escalation in Syria, aim to destabilize the entire region. The statement held the Turkish occupying state fully responsible for these events and its support for "terrorist groups."

The statement called on international powers and the United Nations to immediately intervene to stop these attacks and protect civilians in besieged areas. It also reaffirmed the importance of the Democratic Autonomous Administration’s role in building a multicultural democratic society in NE Syria.

The statement stressed the need for unity and solidarity to face the challenges confronting the region, urging all political and popular forces to stand together in support of the democratic project in the region.
