The statement added: “We also remember with appreciation and respect those who sacrificed their lives to liberate our Yazidi people from the clutches of ISIS, like the fighters of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) and the fighters of the Free Women’s Units – Star (YJA STAR) who opened humanitarian corridors, and from the fighters of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the fighters of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) who rushed to Şengal to defend it. We salute these fighters, both male and female, who fought against the ISIS occupation and were martyred for the sake of humanity, and we remember them with reverence and loyalty.”

The statement praised the remarkable achievements within the Yazidi community, reinforcing the conviction that the organizational strength that had been built has become a tangible reality. This, in particular, has been the organization of women in various spheres of social, political, diplomatic, and military life, emphasizing that it "is a living example of this significant development."

The statement focused on the organization of Yazidi women under the umbrella of the Yazidi Women's Union (TAJÊ), where they have become a unified force responding with awareness and strength to attacks of occupation, religion, and sexism. It emphasized that women today are leading the struggle for a free future in Şengal.

The statement continued: "Just as our Yazidi people organized themselves in various fields, today, through this self-organization, they are defending their Yazidi identity. The brutality of ISIS and the forces behind it is facing a disastrous failure. History proves once again that no force can stand in the way of the will of an organized people. The Yazidi people have become deeply aware and faithful, and are true heirs to the legacy of Yazidi resistance."

At the end of its statement, the Kongra Star renewed its commitment to the young Yazidi women kidnapped by ISIS, and to exert all its efforts to free them from the hands of the mercenaries
