Israeli reconnaissance aircraft fly over Daraa, Damascus countryside

Israeli forces prevented a civilian from entering Hamidiya in the Quneitra countryside and blocked the road leading to al-Salam city, as reconnaissance aircraft flew over Daraa and the Damascus countryside.

An Israeli military patrol comprising a tank and around 20 armed personnel prevented a civilian from entering the village of Hamidiya in the Quneitra countryside on Monday.

The patrol stopped several passersby and barred them from passing. Meanwhile, the tank remained stationed in front of the old provincial government building in al-Salam city, while the road connecting Hamidiya village to the city’s outskirts was blocked.

These movements coincided with Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flying over the cities of Jasim and Tasil in the Daraa countryside, and the Beit Jinn area and its farmlands in the Damascus countryside.

In a previous development, Israeli forces bulldozed around 13 dunams of agricultural land and uprooted approximately 300 olive trees in the village of Saida al-Hanout in the southern Quneitra countryside.
