Israeli forces advanced into areas of the Daraa and Quneitra countryside in southern Syria on Thursday evening, while setting up checkpoints and searching homes, amid a military deployment and drone flights over the area.

According to reports, an Israeli patrol consisting of several vehicles, accompanied by an infantry force, advanced between the villages of Abdeen and Maariya in the Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa countryside. The patrol set up a checkpoint and searched several homes, with no reports of arrests.

In southern Quneitra countryside, Israeli forces carried out a search campaign targeting homes in the village of Rasm al-Ajraf, alongside a military deployment around the village. Similar Israeli movements were also reported in the villages of Bariqa and Saida al-Hanout, amid drone flights over several villages and towns in the Yarmouk Basin.
