An Israeli force with three vehicles entered the village of Umm al-Adham in the Quneitra countryside, established a temporary checkpoint, and searched passersby before withdrawing. No arrests were reported.

An Israeli military force consisting of three vehicles entered the village of Umm al-Adham in the Quneitra countryside today and established a temporary checkpoint in the area.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the Israeli forces stopped passersby and subjected them to searches and identity checks before withdrawing from the village. No arrests were reported.

Later, Israeli forces set up a temporary checkpoint consisting of three military vehicles on the Ain al-Abd-al-Asbah road in the southern Quneitra countryside. No information was received regarding arrests or searches.

The reasons for the incursion and the erection of barriers remain unclear, at a time when Israeli military movements continue inside Syrian territory.
