An Israeli force entered the village of Tranja in the northern Quneitra countryside on Monday, accompanied by three military vehicles and infantry personnel.

Our correspondent reported that the Israeli forces fired smoke grenades between the homes of civilians during the incursion, with no reports of civilian casualties.

The incursion coincided with intensive Israeli reconnaissance flights over the area, while no information was available regarding how long the forces would remain inside the village or the nature of the mission they were carrying out.

The incursion comes amid repeated Israeli military movements in the Quneitra countryside, as residents fear the repercussions on civilian safety and their daily lives.

Earlier today, Israeli forces stationed at Al-Jazeera military barracks targeted residential areas in the village of Maariya in the western Daraa countryside with machine guns, causing fear and anxiety among residents.
