Israeli Forces incursion into countryside of Quneitra, Daraa

Israeli forces carried out an incursion into the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa, opening indiscriminate fire and setting up a checkpoint, which caused tension in the area.

Israeli forces advanced today into the southern countryside of Quneitra and the western countryside of Daraa, amid gunfire and military movements that triggered a state of tension in the region.

In the southern countryside of Quneitra, our correspondent reported that a force consisting of two vehicles advanced from Tel Abu Ghaithar toward the west of the village of Sayda al-Hanout, where it opened indiscriminate fire toward uninhabited agricultural lands in an attempt to intimidate residents and shepherds, without any injuries being reported.

In the western countryside of Daraa, an Israeli force comprising five armored vehicles advanced toward the area of Sariyat Jamlah (Wadi Jamlah post), where it established a temporary checkpoint on the Wadi Jamlah road. The force conducted limited inspections in the vicinity of the site before later withdrawing, while an atmosphere of anxiety and tension prevailed during its presence.
