Israeli force enters Wadi al-Raqad in Daraa countryside, searches Tal al-Hudayb

According to ANHA correspondents, citing residents of the western Daraa countryside, an Israeli force entered the Wadi al-Raqad area again shortly ago and headed toward Tal al-Hudayb, where its personnel deployed at the site and conducted searches, amid the deployment and movement of infantry forces in the area.

Residents added that the personnel dealt with unidentified objects found at the site as part of search and security operations in the area. No confirmed information is currently available regarding the nature of these objects or whether the operation involved placing or dismantling them.

The incursion comes after a field escalation in parts of southern Syria the previous day, with local sources reporting Israeli incursions into several villages in the Daraa and Quneitra countryside, along with artillery shelling.

On Saturday, Israeli forces targeted agricultural land south of the town of al-Rafid in the Quneitra countryside with several artillery shells, followed by gunfire from their positions in the Golan Heights. They also targeted the vicinity of Tal Bat al-Warda near Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside with two artillery shells. No injuries were reported.

The southern regions also witnessed simultaneous ground movements, including an Israeli incursion into the village of al-Asbah in the Quneitra countryside, where homes were searched. An Israeli patrol also entered the village of al-Razaniyah, where it set up a checkpoint and searched passersby.

These developments come amid continued Israeli incursions and military movements in the Daraa and Quneitra countryside, some of which have previously been accompanied by artillery shelling and Israeli aircraft overflights, according to incidents documented by ANHA agency in previous coverage of the area.
