Israel targets 13 crossings and sites on Syrian-Lebanese border

After midnight, Israeli warplanes targeted official crossings, namely Arida in the countryside of Tartous for the first time, Al-Dabousiya and Josiya in the countryside of Homs, unofficial crossings in Wadi Khaled in the countryside of Homs, and 3 bridges on the Al-Kabir River separating the Syrian and Lebanese borders.

This brings the number of border points targeted by Israel in two separate attacks to 10, including 3 official crossings.

Israeli warplanes also targeted 3 locations along the border between Syria and Lebanon.

The strikes targeted illegal crossings in the area of Juroud Qusaya and Juroud Nabi Sheet, near the cities of Sarghaya and Zabadani in rural Damascus.

A military source with the Damascus government forces said in a statement that: "At 00:05 am, the Israeli army launched an air aggression from the direction of Lebanese territory, targeting the border crossings between Syria and Lebanon in the western countryside of Homs," killing 6 people, including 2 military personnel, and wounding 12 others, including children, women and Syrian Arab Red Crescent workers, and causing significant material damage.

Media close to the Damascus government reported earlier that Israeli aggression targeted the Arida and Dabousiya border crossings with Lebanon.
