An Israeli military force entered the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Tuesday, setting up a checkpoint and restricting the movement of pedestrians. In addition, no arrests have been reported so far.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the invading force consisted of two vehicles of Humvee and Hilux, and positioned itself near the eastern entrance to the village, amid a state of anticipation among residents.

Another Israeli force had previously entered the town of Jaba al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, in view of the Syrian Interim Government Forces.

The Observatory stated that approximately fifty soldiers entered the town by four military vehicles and began searching several houses, while drones flew overhead to monitor the movements on the ground.

No reports of clashes or arrests have been received so far, amid uncertainty about the objectives of the repeated Israeli incursions in the surrounding of Quneitra, which is close to the forces' separation line in the Golan.
