Internal Security Forces dismantle mine prepared for explosion east of Deir ez-Zor

The Mine Engineering Team in the Internal Security Forces dismantled a mine in the town of Abriha, east of Deir ez-Zor Canton.

After receiving a report from the people of the town of Abriha, to one of the centers of the Internal Security Forces in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor on Tuesday, May 28, stating that there was a object on the side of the road in the town of Abriha, east of the city, the Internal Security Forces, accompanied by a mine engineering team, rushed to the aforementioned place immediately, they closed the road and traffic was diverted for the safety of citizens, to inspect the suspicious object.

After examining it, it became clear that it was a mine prepared and equipped for remote detonation, and equipped with 3 launcher charges. The forces dismantled it without causing any significant damage, then they transferred it to a designated and safe place to complete the dismantling process and destroy it later.

The forces called on fellow citizens to inform security centers about any terrorist movements or suspicious objects that threaten security and stability in the region.
