Internal Forces: Turkish occupation aims to destroy the infrastructure

The Internal Security Forces issued a statement regarding the Turkish occupation targeting a water tank in the countryside of the city of Tirbespiyê, and indicated that it was out of service as a result of the damage, stressing that the occupation aims to destroy the infrastructure and displace the indigenous population.

Today, a Turkish occupation drone bombed the water tank in the village of Hamara, in the countryside of the city of Tirbespiyê in al-Jazira Canton in the North and East of Syria.

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces issued a statement regarding the targeting, confirming that the tank was out of service as a result of the great damage, as it was serving the people of the village and providing them with water.

The statement continued: “We, in the General Command of the Internal Security Forces, confirm to public opinion that the intentions and goals of the Turkish occupation have become apparent, as the scope of targeting has expanded to include populated buildings, water tanks, and service centers, as it becomes clear that the goal is to destroy and sabotage the infrastructure of the North and East of Syria region, sabotage its economy, and displace its indigenous population.”
