Internal Authority in Jazira Canton extends curfew

The Internal Authority in the Jazira Canton announced the extension of curfew hours in all cities and towns of the canton, as part of security measures taken to maintain security and stability.

In a circular issued by the authority, it explained that the decision comes as a continuation of Circular No. (1) previously issued, and based on the requirements of the public interest.

According to the circular, curfew hours have been extended to run from 6:00 p.m. (18:00) until 8:00 a.m. (08:00), and will apply to all cities and towns across the Jazira Canton.

The authority also confirmed that presence and movement during curfew hours will be limited exclusively to military and security forces.

It called on citizens to adhere to and comply with the issued instructions, emphasizing that doing so plays an important role in maintaining security and stability in the canton.

The authority clarified that this circular comes into effect from the date of its issuance until further notice.
