Intellectuals affirm that their responsibility is to reveal the truth

The Kurdistan Democratic Party continues to betray the Kurds by colluding with the Turkish occupying state in the genocide it is waging against the Freedom Movement forces and throughout the geography of Kurdistan. 

In the context of popular rejection of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's betrayal and its collaboration with the enemy, intellectuals from the city of al-Hasakah highlighted this party's betrayal from the past and its continuation until now, as well as its recent cooperation with the Turkish occupying state to eliminate the achievements made by the Kurds. 

The intellectual Mohamed Ashraf Ali has described the attacks targeting the Mediya regions and the freedom fighters as a joint conspiracy between the Turkish occupation state, the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the Iraqi government.

He shed lighted on the betrayal of the Democratic Party since its inception, confirming that this is not the first time this party has betrayed the Kurds. He pointed out that the betrayal of the Barzani family of the Kurdish revolutions has become known to everyone, and that this family has offered nothing to the Kurds except sacrificing them in pursuit of their own interests. 

Ali added: "Today, the Barzani family is allowing Turkish occupation soldiers to enter Southern Kurdistan with ease and is attempting to hand over Kurdish gains to the Turkish occupation without any effort," reminding that the Turkish occupation rejected the establishment of the "Kurdistan region of Iraq."

Ali confirmed that there is no one in the world who would accept their regions being handed over to the occupation, except that the Barzani family offers the lands of the Kurds to the occupation on a silver platter.

Ali pointed out that the attacks launched by the occupation against the freedom fighters in Southern Kurdistan, in collusion with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, aim to exterminate the Kurds. Therefore, he called on the Kurds throughout Kurdistan to rise up against the Turkish occupation and the betrayal of this party.

Intellectuals are responsible for revealing the truth. 

In conclusion, Mohamed Ashraf Ali emphasized that intellectuals are considered role models for the people, and therefore it is their duty to reveal the truths to the public and to protect the achievements made by the Kurds from the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. 

The Democratic Party is participating in the genocide of the Kurds.

For his part, Farhan Dawood, a member of the Intellectuals Union in the city of al-Hasakah, pointed out that the Middle East region is going through an extremely sensitive phase . He confirmed that the Kurds have achieved significant gains at the level of Kurdistan, but the enemies of the Kurds are seeking to destroy these gains with the help of the treacherous line adopted by the Kurdistan Democratic Party. 

Dawood pointed out that the Turkish occupation's attacks and the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, along with its participation in the attacks, aim to exterminate all Kurds.

Dawood said that the Kurdistan Democratic Party must understand well that if the Turkish occupation achieves its goals in its attacks on the Kurdistan Workers' Party, the Democratic Party will also leave no trace and will vanish.

A call for unity against occupation and the line of betrayal

Farhan Dawood concluded his speech by calling on the Kurdish people worldwide to unite against the Turkish occupation and anyone who opposes the Kurds and their legitimate rights, to stand together against the betrayal committed by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and to protect the gains achieved through many sacrifices.
