Integration completed between Jazira Women’s Authority, Family and Population Authority

The integration process between the Jazira Women’s Authority and the Family and Population Authority affiliated with the Ministry of Social Affairs in Damascus has been completed, as part of the implementation of the January 29 agreement on the institutional integration process between the two sides.

A series of meetings were held today and Tuesday between the Jazira Women’s Authority and the Family and Population Authority of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Damascus interim government, as part of implementing the January 29 agreement on the integration of institutions between the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) and the interim government.

Following the meetings, the two sides announced the integration between the Jazira Women’s Authority and the Family and Population Authority.

The Women’s Authority will maintain its offices and branches in the Jazira region.

The move comes as part of the ongoing institutional integration process involving several bodies and administrations, in accordance with the understandings reached in the January 29 agreement between the DAA and the interim government.
