Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nasser Al-Din announced today that hundreds of casualties, both dead and wounded, have been reported across multiple regions of Lebanon as a result of Israeli strikes.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam emphasized that Israel “shows no regard for regional and international efforts to stop the war,” calling on friendly nations to intervene urgently to halt attacks on densely populated residential neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military stated that it carried out the “largest coordinated bombing campaign” on Lebanon since Hezbollah entered the war in early March. The army reported targeting around 100 command centers, military sites, and infrastructure locations in Beirut, the Beqaa Valley, and southern Lebanon.

Despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that the truce “does not include Lebanon,” leaving the door open for continued military escalation in the region.
