At dawn today, convoys of civilians from the cities of Derik and Girkê legê and the villages of Barav and Koçerat gathered in groups and headed towards the Tishreen Dam to join the shift.

Hundreds of people from the NE Syria region have been taking turns at the Tishreen Dam since January 8 to protect the dam from collapsing and to stop the attacks of the Turkish state and its mercenaries on the Tishreen Dam.
