HPG: Turkish occupation forces bombed Mediya areas 34 times with prohibited weapons

The People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Center issued a statement today revealing details of the Turkish occupation army's attacks on Mediya Defense Areas. It stated:

"Attacks by the Turkish Occupation Army:

On May 21 and 27, the Turkish Occupation Army bombed our tunnels in the resistance square in Şilazı in the Metina region 16 times, and 11 times in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Martyr Zilıl area west of Zap with prohibited weapons.

Between May 21 and 26, the Turkish Occupation Army bombed our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Martyr Zilıl area west of Zap 7 times with chemical gases.

Between May 20 and 27, the Turkish Occupation Army targeted our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Martyr Zilıl area west of Zap 14 times, and 6 times in the resistance square in Şilazı in the Metina region with bulldozers and attempted to destroy them.

Between May 20 and 28, the Turkish Occupation Army heavily bombed the resistance square in Piri Zin in the Xakurk region, and the squares of Zanjil Hill, Diraş, Spindar, Mejeh, and Hill. Rashid, Yekmal, Zefik, Haftebag, Kani Sark, Kon Hill, and Martyr Delkesh in the Gari region, and the resistance squares in Beşil, Derkal, Shilaze, and Seri Metina in the Metina region, and the resistance squares on Amediya Hill and Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil area west of Zap, with heavy weapons and artillery shells.

The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla responded to these attacks within the framework of the right of legitimate defense. The detailed information regarding our forces' response is as follows:

On May 20, at 06:50, our forces struck the targets attacking us in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap, using heavy weapons, and destroyed a bulldozer belonging to the occupying Turkish army.

On May 20, at 14:11, our forces struck bulldozers attacking our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap, and put a bulldozer belonging to the occupying Turkish army out of action.

In On May 21, at 12:40, our forces launched strikes with technical weapons against targets preparing to launch an attack in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap, and struck an armored vehicle.

On May 21, at 2:05 PM, our Free Women's Units - Star forces launched heavy strikes against an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sent to attack our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap, and destroyed it.

On May 22, at 21:20 PM, our forces launched heavy strikes against targets attempting to attack our tunnels with technical weapons in the resistance square on Bahar Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap, and struck a container belonging to the Turkish occupation army.

On May 23, at 21:40 PM, our forces launched strikes with technical weapons against bulldozers attacking our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap, and destroyed a vehicle. Bulldozer.

On May 24, at 11:20 AM, our forces targeted and destroyed a drone that had been sent to attack our tunnels in the resistance square in Serê Metina in the Metina region.

On May 24, between 1:40 PM and 5:00 PM, our forces used technical weapons to target targets preparing to attack our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap. This resulted in the destruction of an A4 weapon position and the targeting of another position.

On May 25, at 2:20 PM, our forces used technical weapons to target a tank attacking our tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap, destroying it.
