HPG: Turkish occupation bombs Media defense areas 937 times

The media center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement today regarding the Turkish occupation army's attacks on the Media defense areas, which stated:

"Attacks by the Turkish occupation army using banned weapons:

On March 23 and 24, our tunnels in the resistance area on Amadiya Hill in the Martyr Delil region west of Zap were bombed three times by armed drones.

Airstrikes by the Turkish occupation army:

On March 24 and 25, warplanes bombed the Martyr Sharif resistance area in the Khakurk region once, and the resistance areas in Yekmale, Kon Hill, Rashid Hill, Zifk, Haftbag, Dêresh in the Garê region 8 times. The total number of airstrikes by warplanes was 9.

On March 24 and 25, the Martyr Delil resistance area in Bahar Hill, west of Zap, was bombed 28 times by attack helicopters.

The Turkish occupation's attacks by heavy weapons, artillery and shells:

On March 24 and 25, the resistance areas in Lolan, Bri Zine, Kandokola, and Sinin in the Khakurk region were shelled 34 times. The resistance areas in Zifk, Rashid Hill, Haftbag, Yekmale, Mijê, Karkash, and Kon Hill in the Garê region were shelled 41 times. The resistance areas in Sere Metina, Shilaza, and Beshile in the Metina region were shelled 203 times. The resistance areas in Amadiya Hill and Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil region west of Zap were shelled 619 times, for a total of 897 heavy artillery and shelling attacks.

Our forces' response to the attacks:

On March 23 at 10:35, in the resistance area on Amadiya Hill in the Martyr Delil region west of Zap, our forces responded with semi-automatic weapons and heavy weapons to the attacks by the invaders, who attempted to attack the resistance tunnels. This resulted in the destruction of a surveillance camera and an enemy trench."
