Head of al-Bayt association in Tabqa canton injured in occupation bombing of Tishreen Dam

The Turkish occupation renewed its bombing of protesting citizens, both male and female, on top of the Tishreen Dam in North and East Syria. According to ANHA's correspondent, a number of protesters were injured, including the head of Al-Bayt Association in Tabqa Canton, Adnan Aliwi, who had arrived at the dam an hour before it was hit, accompanied by residents of Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir-ez Zor.

This is the sixth targeting of protesters on top of Tishreen Dam, and the 11th time that protest convoys heading towards the dam have been targeted.

Since December of last year, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have been launching extensive attacks on the region of North and East Syria, focusing more on the countryside of the city of Kobani and Tishreen Dam.

The head of the Ahl al-Bayt League in the Democratic Islam Conference of Tabqa Canton, Adnan Aliwi, had confirmed to our agency while heading towards the dam, that "the Turkish occupation state is trying to occupy the Tishreen Dam, and is using inhumane and immoral methods. It is committing war crimes against civilians on the Tishreen Dam, and targeting convoys heading to the dam."
