The Asayish of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) deported the spokesman of the HDP's representation in N Kurdistan, and 3 of its members. In this context, the HDP representation held a press conference in Azadi Park in Sulaymaniyah.

At the beginning of the press conference, a member of the HDP representation, Nawzad Goshkan, began to speak, saying: "The KDP has proven its betrayal again, unfortunately two days ago deported 4 members of our representation in S Kurdistan from Hawler, while receiving the enemies of the Kurds on the territory of Kurdistan and welcoming them with open arms, expelling the Kurdish patriots from Hawler barbarically and illegally."

Nawzad Goshkan denounced the practices of the KDP and stressed not to give in or surrender, saying: "We repeat that Kurdistan is the land of the Kurds and no one has the right to expel a Kurd from any Kurdish city."

Hikmat Khatib, member of the HDP representation and one of the deportees from Hawler, gave a speech in which he said: "The KDP Asayish forces summoned us on the sixth of November, they took our files, then they took us out of Hawler in 2 cars, and they told us there is no place for you in Hawler, so they deported us to Sulaymaniyah, we inquired about the reason several times, but they did not tell us about it."

Hikmat continued: "The representation of the HDP is officially present in S Kurdistan and there is no problem, we want to solve this problem and return to Hawler, our life and work are in Hawler and a delegation from our party will visit S Kurdistan to meet with KDP officials on this subject."
