A non-governmental application is gradually dominating the banking and economic sector in Syria, as the role of state banks has declined and reliance on a platform operated outside the frameworks of licensing and recognized transparency has increased. This situation raises serious concerns about data protection and monetary control, as well as genuine questions about the relationship of the Central Bank with this new system and its ability to regulate it.

Meral Danış Beştaş, deputy of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party in the Turkish parliament and a member of the "National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Committee," revealed that the meeting with leader Abdullah Ocalan has not yet been placed on the committee’s agenda. However, she believes the meeting will not be delayed, as there is no alternative but to hold it.
