The Kurdish Red Crescent Hospital for Cancer, Thalassemia, and Burns is treating 450 thalassemia patients, the majority of whom are children. The hospital is calling on families to donate blood to save patients’ lives, as children with the disease require monthly blood transfusions. (Photos and video attached).

Intellectuals from the Jazira region believe that the steps taken by the Kurdish Liberation Movement represent a historic turning point in the course of the Kurdish struggle, reflecting its commitment to the principles of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which call for resolving conflicts through political and democratic means.
