Members of the Zenobia Women’s Community Council affirmed that Syrian women’s efforts constitute the cornerstone of building social peace. They pointed out that overcoming ethnic and religious discrimination, and reinforcing the values of brotherhood and equality, is the right path toward building a unified democratic Syria. The communities of the city of Çil Agha in Jazira Canton condemned the media campaigns targeting the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), stressing that any attempt to undermine the SDF constitutes a direct attack on the unity and cohesion of the peoples of North and East Syria. They emphasized that these forces are seen as an extension of their very existence and as a protective shield for their identity. (Photos and video attached).

Areas of Jazira Canton are witnessing growing concern due to the spread of diseases affecting livestock, especially calves and cows, amid fears of heavy losses to the animal wealth sector. There are concerns the situation may worsen in the absence of effective preventive measures, which could impact the livelihood of hundreds of families and the local food security.
