Hasaka Governor Noureddine Ahmed held a meeting at the governorate building with Abdullah Abdullah, the Director General of Civil Affairs at the Ministry of Interior in the Syrian Interim Government.

The discussions during the meeting focused on the mechanism for implementing Presidential Decree No. 13, which stipulates the restoration of Syrian citizenship to Kurdish citizens, and explored ways to ensure its proper implementation and facilitate procedures for beneficiaries.

The meeting resulted in an agreement on a clear operational mechanism and the formation of specialized committees to receive and review applications according to established legal procedures.

The date for beginning to receive applications is expected to be determined within the next few days and will be officially announced as soon as the necessary organizational procedures are completed.
