Gerîla TV has broadcast footage of a qualitative operation carried out by the Free Women’s Units – Star in Khakurk, within the Medya defense areas, resulting in the death of 5 occupation soldiers and the injury of 3 others.

The footage broadcast by Gerîla TV shows the operation conducted by the Free Women’s Units – Star in Khakurk, located in the Medya defense areas, South Kurdistan. The Media Center of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) provided details of the operation as follows:

"On June 22, the Turkish occupation army launched a military operation in the Martyr Qehreman area of Khakurk. Our forces took control of the occupation soldiers, and at 14:00, they targeted them with an explosive attack in a qualitative operation. The operation resulted in the death of 4 occupation soldiers and the injury of 3 others. Subsequently, the occupiers used smoke bombs at the site and evacuated their dead and wounded from the area.

At 14:30, our forces carried out another explosive attack, killing one more occupation soldier. This operation, which led to the death of 5 occupiers and the injury of 3 others, was conducted by our forces from the Free Women’s Units – Star as part of the commemoration of June 30, the Day of the Sacrificer."
