Reports circulating on social media, accompanied by video footage, indicate that several gas stations in the governorates of Homs, Rural Damascus, and Daraa refused to accept gasoline shipments supplied by the Syrian Petroleum Company.

According to these reports, the stations justified their refusal by stating that the fuel did not meet technical specifications and contained impurities that could compromise its usability.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Energy of the Interim Government attributed the fuel station congestion crisis a week ago to the rejection of a non-compliant gasoline shipment.
