The funeral procession for martyr Saleh Muslim, a member of the Presidential Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), set off a short while ago, heading towards the Martyr Dijla Shrine, where he will be laid to rest amidst a large gathering of Kurdish delegations and crowds.

The funeral was attended by delegations from North and South Kurdistan, the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and a delegation comprising political and social parties, forces, and entities from the Jazira region, all participating in bidding farewell to the martyr.

Thousands of residents lined the streets as the procession passed, and shops closed. Large crowds gathered at the Martyr Dijla Shrine to receive the procession.

The coffin of martyr Saleh Muslim was adorned with the PYD flag and wreaths of flowers.

Saleh Muslim, a member of the PYD Presidential Council, was martyred on March 11th in a hospital in South Kurdistan while receiving treatment for a health condition.
