For the sixth consecutive day, the "Enduring Security" operation launched by the Internal Security Forces, Syrian Democratic Forces, and Women's Protection Units on November 6 continues, aiming to search the al-Hol Camp and its surroundings in Jazera Canton.

ANHA correspondent, who is following the operation, confirmed that the search and inspection operations today began in the second and fourth sections of the camp.

For its part, the "Enduring Security" operations room confirmed in a statement issued today, Monday, that on the fifth day of the operation, it completed the census and identity verification process in the Migrants' Section, in addition to the search operations.

It also announced that it had finished the search operations in the first section, designated for camp residents from Iraq. It pointed out that the operations proceeded smoothly, thanks to the cooperation of the residents and civil institutions with the forces involved in the operation, aimed at maintaining security and preventing ISIS mercenary cells from threatening the people.

The statement noted that on the fifth day, the forces carried out several raids on the mercenaries' hideouts and arrested 11 mercenaries.

It mentioned that the forces conducted extensive investigations into the torture and killing of a woman by women from the so-called "Hesba Unit" affiliated with ISIS mercenaries in the Migrants' Section, where interviews were conducted with 8 ISIS women for investigation.

The statement confirmed that the forces began, this Monday morning, simultaneous search operations in the second and fourth sections, accompanied by raids on some hideouts, with results to be disclosed in a later statement.

What has the operation achieved so far?

During the first two days of the operation, the forces of the "Enduring Security" operations room combed and searched vast areas in the southern and northern countryside of the town of al-Hol, covering over 100 square kilometers, thus completing the first phase of the operation.

Since the third day of the "Enduring Security" operation, the forces entered the al-Hol camp, and the search and combing operations are still ongoing.

84 mercenaries are arrested so far

In the first phase of the operation, the forces were able to arrest 47 ISIS mercenaries and collaborators in the countryside of al-Hol, as revealed by the "Enduring Security" operations room.

In the second phase of the operation within the al-Hol camp, the forces arrested 37 ISIS mercenaries who were involved in carrying out terrorist operations within the camp and extorting its residents.

Thus, the total number of mercenaries arrested since the launch of the "Enduring Security" operation has reached 84 mercenaries, according to the operations room's reports.

The forces also found the body of a woman killed by ISIS mercenaries some time ago and buried in the camp, in addition to discovering hideouts and booklets used to train ISIS mercenaries' children on extremist ideology.

The aim of the "Enduring Security" operation is to target the ISIS mercenary cells and their collaborators who are attempting to establish themselves near the al-Hol camp and enter it to smuggle the families of the mercenaries out.
