Fighters from Tishrin Dam: We want our people to be proud of us

Fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), who are engaged in the battle to defend Tishrin Dam and its surrounding areas, spoke to ANHA agency. They confirmed that their spirits remain high.

Fighter Safir Rojava from Al-Shaddadi explained: "We are here around Tishrin Dam to defend our land and honor against the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. We are here, Christians and Muslims, Syriacs, Arabs, and Kurds, all united as one hand and one heart."

Similarly, fighter Delbrin Qamishlo from Qamishlo stated: "We have shattered the mercenaries' hopes of seizing Tishrin Dam. We have repelled all their attacks and defeated them. We thank the people who have come to Tishrin Dam to support us."

"We want our people to be proud of us"

Meanwhile, fighter Shahin Rojhat emphasized: "We have thwarted all attacks on Tishrin Dam. Our focus is always on advancing forward, and we will never surrender to these attacks, whether from the ground or the air. We want our people to be proud of us and assure them that our morale remains high. We are showing great resistance here and will avenge all our martyrs."

Fighter Kajin Afrin pointed out that his resistance has continued for more than fifty days, growing stronger every day despite the Turkish occupation's use of the latest military technologies in its attacks.

Fighter Qahraman Djiwar explained: "The resistance we have shown has instilled fear in the hearts of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. We assure our people that the enemy will not be able to enter Tishrin Dam."

Fighter Melitan Walat from Raqqa affirmed: "We are part of a historic resistance for our people and to reclaim our lands occupied by Turkey. Despite all the hardships of war and the Turkish occupation’s use of advanced technology, we will continue resisting and will never stop. We send a message to all the mercenaries attacking our land and people: You will regret it, and you will face great difficulties. The SDF is not a simple force; it is the force that crushed ISIS, and it will make you live in fear."
