The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries managed to surround Hama, Syria's fourth-largest city, from 3 sides.

"The city of Hama was surrounded from 3 sides, where it is now stationed at a distance of three to four kilometres from it, following fierce clashes with regime forces, who have only one outlet left towards Homs in the south," the SOHR said.

But the SOHR said at dawn on Thursday that the battle of Mount Zain al-Abidin in Hama was decided in favor of Damascus government forces.
