Yesterday, thousands of people from the NE Syria region spent the night on the Tishreen Dam, which is subjected to violent attacks by the Turkish occupation army, its mercenaries.

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Euphrates Canton, Farhan Haj Issa, indicated in a brief statement to ANHA agency, how they spent the night on the Tishreen Dam. "Yesterday there was a violent attack on the dam. Despite fears that the Turkish occupation will target the people again, they continued their shift enthusiastically."

Farhan Haj Issa explained: "This enemy considers every human being living on this earth a target to eliminate it, so it targeted our convoy yesterday, and a number of our comrades were martyred."

Thousands of components of the Cantons of Al-Jazira, Raqqa, Tabqa and Euphrates, Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs, headed towards the Tishreen Dam in order to stop the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and protect the dam, which is a vital facility in the NE Syria region. The convoy was bombed, 3 civilians martyred and 15 others wounded.

Farhan Haj Issa affirmed: "We confirm that these crimes are condemned," expressing regret for the international silence over the massacres committed by the Turkish occupation against the people of the NE Syria region.

"We are here and we will stay here, we are with our people and their decision, with our fighters, protecting our areas and facilities," he said. Now there are thousands of people from the NE Syria region on the Tishreen Dam, calling on all the people of the region to join the shift there.
