Families of Imrali detainees apply for access

 The brother of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Mehmet Ocalan, and his agent Mazlum Dinç have submitted a request to the Bursa Republican Public Prosecutor's Office and Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with him.

 Amine Konar, the sister of Ömer Hayri Konar, Polat Yıldırım, the brother of Hamili Yıldırım, and Meliha Çetin, the sister of Veysi Aktaş, have also submitted a request to the Bursa Republican Public Prosecutor's Office and Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with them.

 It is noteworthy that the last meeting with the leader was held by his lawyers Rezan Sarica and Newroz Uysal on August 7, 2019, while his last contact with the outside world was on March 25, 2021, during a 5-minute phone call by his brother Mehmet Ocalan, then the call was cut off.

 The leader Ocalan has been detained for more than 24 years in Imrali Island Prison in the Sea of Marmara, following an international conspiracy by international and regional powers in 1999 in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and was handed over to the  Turkish state on February 15 of the same year.
