Education Body in Tabaqa holds annual meeting to enhance educational standards

The meeting was attended by members of the educational councils from the cities and rural areas of the canton, representatives of the Education Body, and delegates from the Executive Council of Tabaqa Canton.

The session commenced with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, followed by a reading of the educational directives of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, presented by Ahmad Shalash, the Co-Chair of the Educational Council in Al-Tabaqa city.

Subsequently, Azad Barazi, the Deputy of the Education Body in North and East Syria, delivered an analysis of the political situation, warning against a systematic media escalation aimed at inciting internal discord among Syrians.

 He stressed that the solution lies in an independent national dialogue free from external dictates.

Barazi underscored the importance of adhering to the March 10 Agreement as a pathway for a Syrian-Syrian political resolution, emphasizing the need to strengthen decentralization and empower local administrations. He also rejected attempts to misrepresent the process of institutional integration, affirming that the experience of North and East Syria represents a successful model of governance and organization.

Laila Mohammed, the Co-Chair of the Education Body in Tabaqa Canton, presented the annual report, which addressed the organizational status, challenges hindering the educational process, and obstacles faced by teachers and educational staff. These issues were thoroughly discussed during the meeting.

The meeting concluded with several recommendations, including:

- Implementing comprehensive training programs for school administrations to enhance their administrative and educational capabilities.

- Developing a comprehensive plan to address learning loss among students due to challenges faced in previous academic years.

- Ensuring the provision of all necessary educational resources, including textbooks, records, and essential materials required for the new academic year.

This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to advance the educational landscape in the region and promote educational stability, serving the interests of both students and teachers.
