Dr. Delshad Ismat appointed Director of Health Directorate in Kobani

In implementation of the provisions of the January 29 Agreement governing the integration of the Autonomous Administration's institutions with the Syrian Interim Government, Dr. Delshad Ismat was appointed on Thursday as Director of the Health Directorate in the city of Kobani.

The appointment ceremony was attended by a number of physicians, pharmacists, representatives of healthcare institutions, and relevant officials. During the event, participants reviewed the Directorate's responsibilities and the key tasks it is expected to undertake in the coming phase.

Attendees stressed the importance of strengthening the healthcare sector and improving the quality of medical services provided to residents, emphasizing the Directorate's central role in overseeing hospitals and healthcare centers, as well as addressing the region's medical needs.

For his part, Dr. Delshad Ismat, a dentist, expressed his gratitude for the confidence placed in him, affirming that his top priority would be to enhance the healthcare system and deliver the highest possible standard of medical services to citizens in coordination with all relevant authorities.
