Digital Campaign exposes Turkish Atrocities

Residents of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) have launched a concerted online campaign to expose the crimes and attacks perpetrated by the Turkish occupying forces and their allied mercenaries around Tishrin Dam.

This evening, activists from North and East Syria initiated an online advocacy effort to draw international attention to the ongoing aggression of Turkish forces and their gangs in the vicinity of Tishrin Dam. This initiative underscores Turkey’s repeated and intentional bombing of the dam, posing not only an ecological threat but also endangering the lives of civilians who have gathered there in defense of their land and community.

The hashtag, shared widely in Arabic and English (#Turkey_Destroys_Tishrin_Dam_and_Kils_People), is accompanied by powerful imagery documenting the destruction and civilian casualties caused by Turkish forces.

This digital campaign calls on the international community to urgently intervene and hold Turkey accountable for its violations of international law and basic human rights.
