Detention of kidnapped Alawites in Torture centers

The website (Lekolin.org) published a report detailing new information about attacks by mercenary groups on the cities of Latakia, Tartus, Hama, and Homs. According to various sources, the number of victims from the attacks that began on March 6 ranges between 1,500 and 3,000 people. 

The report cited human rights organizations, revealing the involvement of Brigade 400, Saraya Ansar al-Sunna, Sultan Suleiman Shah faction, Jaysh al-Islam, Ahrar al-Sham, Hamza Division, and the East Turkestan Islamic Party in the attacks.

The report highlighted ongoing massacres and abductions in the region, referencing a United Nations report on the kidnapping of women and girls in Syria.

According to the statement: “Since March, 38 Alawite women and girls in Latakia, Tartus, Hama, Homs, Damascus, and Aleppo have been kidnapped by mercenaries.” Reports indicate that the number of kidnapped women, children, and men has exceeded 100, with 20 of them killed under torture.

According to the report, the Ibn al-Haytham camp in Homs, previously used under the Ba’ath regime as a military training center for university students, is now a military gathering point.

Additionally, a Ba’ath Party building, previously used as a secret facility, and a former clinic are being used to detain the kidnapped individuals.
