Despite Turkish bombing, candidates of upcoming municipal elections meet the people

For the second day in a row in the city of Cil Agha, the candidates of the “Alliance of Peoples and Women for Freedom” met with the people of the city. The meetings and visits of the candidates today were concentrated in the “Old and New Salah al-Din” neighborhoods. 

During the meetings, the candidates focused on introducing the “Alliance of Peoples and Women for Freedom”, its goals, its electoral program, and the importance of the elections.

It was accompanied by the distribution of leaflets containing the electoral program and the slogan of “Alliance of Peoples and Women for Freedom.”

Today, the city of Al-Hol witnessed the distribution of leaflets by the candidates that included their program, the hanging of banners bearing its slogan, and pictures of the Alliance’ candidates for the municipality of the city of Al-Shaddadi, within the public streets of the city and its towns and villages.

In the same context, the candidates of the “Alliance of Peoples and Women for Freedom” for the municipality of the city of Qamishlo met with the people of the village of Hemo in the western countryside of the city, and distributed leaflets containing the Alliance’ electoral program.

During the meeting, the candidate for the "Alliance of Peoples and Women for Freedom", for the Co-chair of the municipality of the city of Qamishlo, Berivan Omar, focused on what the it seeks to achieve in its electoral program, and what it will present after winning the next elections on June 11, and touched on the importance of the elections for the region.

During the candidate meetings in those areas, they listened to the main demands of the people that are within the jurisdiction of the municipalities, such as “rehabilitating roads, drinking water, regulating urban expansion, organizing markets, and building permits.”

The meeting of the candidates with the people coincided with the occupation army’s bombing of various areas in Jazera Canton, as it targeted, through its drones, several sites in the western countryside of the city of Qamishlo, as well as in the countryside of the city of Tal Hamis.
