Derik, Amuda residents write letters to leader, affirming their demand for his physical freedom

As part of the campaign to meet with Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Kongra Star in the city of Derik in Jazira canton organized a public event in Dejla Park, in which dozens of residents, as well as members of civil society organizations, participated, writing letters addressed to Leader Abdullah Ocalan expressing their loyalty and adherence to his ideology and their demands for his physical freedom.

The event began with reading a statement by the Kongra Star member, Razan Musa, which included, "We, in the Kongra Star, are launching a campaign to bring the voice of freedom to Imrali Prison and to Leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The statement continued, "By writing these letters, we express the voice of the free women of Derik and our aspirations as women based on the communal democratic system. We affirm our desire for a quick meeting with the Leader and for his physical presence among us."

Following the statement, the participants began writing personal letters to the Leader, expressing their deep loyalty and their determination to continue the path of freedom until Leader Abdullah Ocalan is given his physical freedom.

The event concluded with chanting slogans that affirm the people's adherence to the leader's ideology, "There Is No Life Without the Leader."

In this context, the Kongra Star members in the city of Amuda organized a symbolic event titled "I Want to Meet the Leader, Outside Imrali," during which they expressed their desire to meet Leader Abdullah Ocalan and demand his physical freedom.

The event was attended by members of the Kongra Star and the Internal Security Forces – Women, along with representatives of civil society organizations. Participants gathered at the Kongra center and wrote letters to the Leader, affirming their adherence to his ideology and philosophy, and stating that "the solution to the Middle East's problems begins with the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."

During the event, the Kongra Star's member, Shaha Barjas, said, "Every woman has the right to meet her leader. We want to see him among us, listen to him, and work with him directly." She called on international powers and human rights organizations to take serious action to secure his release and achieve his physical freedom.

The event concluded with chanting the slogans that affirm loyalty to Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
