The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are launching continuous attacks on the Tishrin Dam. Despite the presence of hundreds of residents from the North and East Syria region on the dam's structure to protect it from these attacks, since December 8, they have been targeting the dam with all kinds of weapons, including drones and warplanes.

The dignitaries of the Deir ez-Zor tribes condemned the ongoing attacks by the Turkish occupying state on the Tishrin Dam and the region of North and East Syria, and affirmed their commitment to resisting them and preventing any colonial plans by the Turkish occupying state on Syrian territory.

The notable of al-Matlou'een tribe in the town of al-Baghouz in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, Dheeb Khalif Dawod, said: "The actions of the Turkish occupying state and its mercenaries against the people of the North and East Syria region and the protesters against the Tishrin Dam are considered crimes that we will not remain silent about, and we will not allow them to continue."

He pointed out that: "The Turkish occupation labels us as terrorists, but it is the one that kills the people, destroys facilities, targets dams, and attacks unarmed civilians."

Al-Dawod wondered, "Why this international silence? Why don't they intervene to stop the Turkish attacks on our lands and people? Our forces are not terrorists; they are the ones who liberated us from the ISIS mercenaries."

Al-Dawod explained: "The land liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces belongs to the entire Syrian people, not to Turkey or any other entity, and we cannot allow the Turkish occupation to strike our forces and our people, or to attack our vital facilities."

Al-Dawod affirmed: "The Syrian Democratic Forces are not just a Kurdish force; they include Arabs, Armenians, Christians, and all Syrian sects. We believe in peaceful coexistence and reject any violation of our rights."

For his part, the notable of al-Wadi tribe, condemned the Turkish occupying state's targeting of civilian convoys and protesters against the Tishrin Dam with its warplanes and the shedding of Syrian blood to achieve its colonial interests.

Al-Wadi confirmed: "Turkey is a colonial state trying to occupy Syrian lands and meddle in the region, and targeting the Tishrin Dam is a crime against humanity. This dam serves the people and not any specific entity, and we have the right to defend and protect it."

The notable of al-Wadi tribe rejected and said: "We reject any form of occupation on Syrian land, and we are ready to resist and defend our rights."

Al-Wadi called on all honorable Syrians who care about the interests of the Syrian people in all countries of the world to stand united against any occupation.
