Death of injured person in shooting incident in Homs

ANHA reporter from the city of Homs reported the death of the owner of “Al-Ghadir Butchery,” who succumbed to injuries sustained during the shooting incident that took place today in the Al-Armen neighborhood of Homs.

The Al-Armen neighborhood in Homs witnessed a shooting incident today that resulted in the killing of an armed attacker and a butcher, following an assault targeting his shop.

ANHA reporter confirmed the death of citizen Ali Ismail, the owner of “Al-Ghadir Butchery,” who died from the serious injuries he sustained during the incident.

According to information, an armed man stormed the butcher shop and opened fire on its owner, causing him severe injuries. He was later transferred to hospital. Following the attack, the victim’s brother intervened and engaged the attacker, managing during the struggle to seize his weapon and shoot him, killing him.

The attacker had already died from his injuries, and later Ali Ismail was also declared dead, bringing the total death toll of the incident to two.
