Death, injury of 9 children in explosion of war remnants in rural Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor

8 children were injured with varying degrees of severity, including some in critical condition, due to the explosion of a landmine left over from the war in the village of Orum al-Sughra in the western countryside of Aleppo. They were transferred to the hospital for treatment, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

 A child was also killed by the explosion of a hand grenade in the village of Hossan in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

 War remnants are spread over vast geographical areas of Syrian territory and pose a danger to the lives of citizens amid the negligence of organizations in removing them.

 The number of people who were martyred due to the explosion of unexploded ordnance after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in various Syrian cities reached 55, including 41 men, 9 children, and 5 women. Additionally, 41 others were injured, including 20 children and 4 women.
