This morning, Damascus government forces carried out shelling on the positions of Turkish occupation mercenaries in the Hama countryside, while a government soldier was killed by sniper fire from the mercenaries.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that this morning, Damascus government forces heavily shelled the positions of Turkish occupation mercenaries in the al-Sarmaniyah axis of the al-Ghab Plain in western Hama countryside. No information about casualties has been reported.

In a related development, a member of Damascus government forces was killed by sniper fire from the "al-Fatah al-Mubeen" mercenaries on the Tal al-Malik axis in the northern countryside of Latakia, within the "de-escalation" zone.

With this incident, the number of military personnel and civilians killed in ground attacks within the "de-escalation" zone since the beginning of the year has risen to 299, across 277 incidents, including sniping, clashes, targeted attacks, and suicide drone operations. Additionally, more than 118 military personnel and Turkish occupation mercenaries and 122 civilians have been injured in these operations.
