DAA: Turkish occupation targeted NE Syria with 1,031 attacks

The Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria today made a statement in front of the Council building in Raqqa, which was read by the co-chairs of the Executive Council, Avin Sweid and Hussein Othman, in the presence of the co-chairs of the Executive Council bodies in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

The statement was read in Kurdish by the Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Avin Sweid, and in Arabic by the Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hussein Othman.

The statement read, "The Turkish occupation state has been launching air strikes against our regions for five days, targeting infrastructure and residential areas in Jazera, Kobani, Manbij, Tal Tamr and Ain Issa, while its mercenaries continue their ground attacks targeting civilians and forcibly displaced people from Afrin, in the areas of Shahba and Sheikh Maqsoud."

"This aggression poses a great danger to the humanitarian, service and social conditions, and provides an opportunity for terrorist cells to launch more attacks on our areas.

We, in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, confirm that the continuation of this aggression will lead to the following repercussions:

- Creating a catastrophic humanitarian and economic situation.

- Threatening efforts to combat terrorism.

- Causing serious damage to the agricultural, industrial and service sectors, including bakeries.

- Threatening the lives of five million indigenous and displaced people in the areas of the Autonomous Administration.

- Threatening efforts to support stability and develop a democratic solution in Syria.

- Threatening the safety of prisons.

We call on the forces of the international coalition, Russia and all human rights and humanitarian institutions to realize the repercussions of this aggression, and to move to stop it and form investigation committees to hold the perpetrators accountable.

We also call on all components of our people to rally around their military and security forces, and to dedicate their unity and solidarity to thwart all Turkish plots."

The outcome of the Turkish aggression is:

Number of drone attacks: 118 attacks

Number of warplane attacks: 20

893 mortar shelling

Total number of attacks by the Turkish occupation state: 1,031

Total number of martyrs: 17

Total number of wounded: 65".

The power stations that supply the cities and regions of Jazera and Euphrates cantons were also targeted.

Furthermore, the Turkish occupation army's bombing caused power outages and water shortage for more than 150,000 families."
