The Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria issued a statement to public opinion, regarding the attacks witnessed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the regions of the region, which stated:

"The Turkish occupation state continues to violate all international conventions and laws, and commit mass massacres against our people in North and East Syria, in continuous attempts to destabilize the security and stability of the region in light of the chaos witnessed by Syria.

Today, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries once again reveal the truth of their aggressive goals, as they committed a mass massacre against civilians in the village of Safiya in the western countryside of Ain Issa, through their drones, which resulted in the martyrdom of eight civilians from one family, including children and women. The victims are: Khalil Suleiman, Waddah Suleiman, Muhammad Al-Abou, Abdul Karim Al-Abou, Dalal Suleiman, Nadia Suleiman, the child Jassim Suleiman, the child Hussam Suleiman.

This massacre is just one in a series of massacres and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation against the people who fought global terrorism represented by ISIS on behalf of the entire world. These crimes confirm that the goal of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries is to destroy the region and kill its people. Just yesterday, the Turkish occupation state committed another massacre in the countryside of Ain Issa, killing 12 civilians.

We in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria condemn in the strongest terms these heinous crimes. We also affirm that the continued silence of the international community and human rights organizations regarding these serious violations and war crimes committed by the Turkish state and its mercenaries represents an implicit complicity that contributes to the continuation of the Turkish occupation by committing more crimes against the peoples of the region.

We call on international human rights and humanitarian organizations to document these crimes and bring them before international courts to ensure justice for the victims. We also call on the active forces in Syria and the international community to take a unified and firm position against this aggression, and to work to protect civilians and stop the military escalation that threatens the security of the entire region.

Despite these horrific crimes that aim to break the will of our people, we affirm our commitment to defending our land and protecting our people, and we will continue to work with all our capabilities to deter the occupation and thwart its plans.

The will of our people will not be broken, and the sacrifices of our martyrs will remain a beacon that lights the path of freedom and dignity.
