DAA receives thousands of returnees from Aleppo, following Aleppo clashes

The Al-Bouassi crossing in the countryside of Tabqa canton is witnessing a large movement of residents and students of North and East Syria, returning from the city of Aleppo to their areas.

 According to the crossing statistics, the number of returnees exceeded 1,000 people, including a large number of university students.

 The mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" supported by the Turkish occupation began storming the city of Aleppo on Friday afternoon, which led to a mass exodus from the city.

 During the operations, the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" targeted the university city in the city of Aleppo, which led to the death of 4 students and a number of injuries.

 In addition to the Al-Bouassi crossing, the Abu Kahf crossing in the city of Manbij witnessed a large movement of students and families returning to their areas in the North and East of Syria region.

 In this context, the Drivers Union in Raqqa  sent more than 60 buses to transport students and families from the city of Aleppo to Raqqa.

 The co-chair of the Drivers Union, Waddah Al-Jarijeb, said earlier: "The Drivers Union sent 60 buses from Raqqa, Al-Sahl and Al-Mansoura in the western countryside of Raqqa to transport students and families from the city of Aleppo to Raqqa."

 Some of those who arrived from Aleppo to Raqqa described the situation in the city of Aleppo to ANHA agency as "tragic and shocking."

 Samia  said: "I was on a family visit to the Al-Hamdaniya area in Aleppo. We were forced to return this morning after the area was bombed."

 University student Ahmed Al-Saleh described what happened by saying: "We were surprised by the shells falling this morning on the university resident، the university students immediately began heading to the garages and searching for transportation vehicles to return to their areas and homes."

 It is noteworthy that the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria had previously called for facilitating the movement of residents and students returning to their areas and providing them with the necessary support.
