The people of the North and East Syria region have been cautiously monitoring the developments in Syria since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Public reactions to these changes vary, but opinions converge in the regions of North and East Syria on the necessity of building a new Syria based on a decentralized democratic system.

Citizen Mamo Hassan from the city of Qamishlo says: "We can no longer live under a system of one nationality and one language." He called on the new transitional administration in Damascus to write a new constitution that guarantees and preserves the rights of all components.

Hassan confirmed that the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration are red lines for them: "We belong to them, and they belong to us."

For his part, Ahmed Ibrahim from Qamishlo explained: "We have noticed killings and atrocities occurring in the areas controlled by the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham forces," and added: "There must be a stop to the practices and violations of the mercenaries in some Syrian areas, and this requires a popular response from all Syrian components."

Several Syrian cities witnessed protests in recent days demanding "secularism" and others calling for an end to violations against religious sanctities in the country.

Where protests took place in the provinces of Tartus, Lattakia, and Homs, condemning the burning of the "Khasibi" shrine in the city of Aleppo, which is considered a sacred religious site by the Alawite community.

Video clips of field executions spread in several Syrian areas, with some media outlets claiming they were operations to eliminate elements of the former Syrian regime, although it was not possible to verify the accuracy of the information regarding these clips.

For his part, Armanj Ahmed from Qamishli said: "What is happening in Latakia, Homs, and Tartus foreshadows a catastrophic future for Syria if things continue like this."

In light of these developments occurring in various regions of Syria, the cities and areas of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria maintain security and stability, despite the continued attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

Many attempts were made by the Turkish occupation through media warfare to drag the regions of North and East Syria into an ethnic war, but the model of Democratic Autonomous Administration was able to stand against these attempts at sedition.

Where the Democratic Autonomous Administration includes all components, such as Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Assyrians, and others, and guarantees all their rights.

Armanj Ahmed said, "DAA is the best model for the new Syria, and the democratic nation system guarantees freedom for all components."

Armanj Ahmed called on all popular circles in Damascus, Aleppo, and other Syrian regions to organize themselves according to the democratic nation system.
