Czech journalist Markéta Kotílova affirmed her full support for the Kurdish people in Rojava, noting that she has visited the region 15 times as part of her ongoing monitoring of field and humanitarian conditions.

In an exclusive interview with ANHA Agency, Kotílova described the Kurdish people as “a great nation that has made significant sacrifices to establish peace in the region,” stressing that these sacrifices must be communicated to the global public without distortion or neglect.

She explained that she came to Rojava at this critical time to stand with the Kurdish people, document the attacks against them, and convey the truth of what is happening to the world, emphasizing that free media bears an ethical responsibility to expose violations and give voice to victims.

At the end of her statement, the Czech journalist noted that despite the lack of practical support from European politicians, the peoples of Europe stand with the Kurds of Rojava in their hearts, following their cause with growing sympathy and concern.
