Council of Religions and Beliefs congratulates free peoples on Easter
The founding committee of the Council of Religions and Beliefs in the North and East Syria region congratulated all free peoples on the glorious occasion of Easter.
The committee issued a statement to public opinion, on the occasion of Easter, which stated:
“Resurrection of Christ is a symbol of peace and liberation, a symbol of truth and justice, and on this great occasion, we congratulate the Christian peoples of the world, Syria and NE Syria on this occasion. The Resurrection is a sincere call to liberate societies from corruption and social injustice and to find and consolidate the values of truth, justice and peace for all people."
The statement explained: “Let us announce the resurrection of a new life to the world that has long been drowned in its hatred, and let us adhere to the truth, because the truth liberates us, as the forces of evil and the dark, hateful forces want death and denial of the other.”
The founding committee of the Council congratulated all free peoples on the occasion of the glorious Easter.
