Thousands of websites around the world went offline today, Tuesday, November 18, including news agencies, our agency, and major platforms, due to a widespread outage in Cloudflare services, the company responsible for network security and protection.

The affected websites displayed HTTP 500 error messages, including our agency (Hawar News Agency), as well as virtual platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), and a number of news and service websites. The cause is attributed to a technical malfunction in the company's systems, which led to a general disruption of its services.

Cloudflare is one of the largest providers of website security and infrastructure services, and any outage directly impacts thousands of connected websites.

According to initial updates from the company, technical teams are working to resolve the issue, and the disruption is expected to be temporary and short-lived, unlike previous outages. However, until the repairs are complete, some websites may remain unavailable or operate intermittently.
